Bartysh Serhiy Petrovych was the mechanic-driver of the 7th Company of the 3rd Battalion of the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 31 August, 1964 in the village Novopushkivka, Krynychansk district, Dnipropetrovsk region. He graduated the high school.
He passed the regular military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR.
He lived in Novopushkovka village. He worked as a welder.
On 30 July, 2015 he was mobilized in the Armed forces of Ukraine. He served as a mechanic-driver of the 7th Company of the 3rd Battalion of the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit В0927, the city of Severodonetsk / Lisichansk, Luhansk region).
From the summer-autumn of 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 28 October, 2015, soldier Bartysh died near the village Verkhnyotoretsky, Yasinuvata district, Donetsk region during an inspection of the terrain for the engineering equipment of the trenches, blowing up on an unknown explosive device.
He was buried at the cemetery of the village Novopushkivka, Krynychansk district, Dnipropetrovsk region.
He was awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the third class (March 21, 2016, posthumously).
The wife, two sons and three grandchildren are left.
