Belyak Gennady Josipovich - room attendants mortar platoon mortar battery of the 1st airborne assault battalion of the 95th separate airborne brigade of highly mobile airborne troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, soldier.
He was born in March 28, 1978 in the village Ryhalske Yemel‘chins‘kyy district, Zhytomyr region.
In the spring of 2014 he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the mortar battery of the 1st airborne assault battalion of the 95th separate airborne brigade of highly mobile airborne troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0281 Town Zhytomyr).
In the spring of 2014 he took part in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On May 19, 2014 around 5:00 am during the insurgents fired mortar location-negotiable Task Force, which was on the hill to protect Karachun television tower (the southern outskirts of the city Slavyansk Donetsk region), died of wounds soldiers Belyak. Militants were firing mortar from the territory of a kindergarten near the railway station Slavyansk.
On May 21, 2014 he was buried in the cemetery in the village Ryhalske Yemel‘chins‘kyy district, Zhytomyr region.
He was awarded the Order "For courage" of III degree (19.7.2014, posthumously).
The wife and two children remain.
