Birovchak Yuriy Yuriyovych was the gunner of the 3rd mechanized platoon of the 1st mechanized company of the mechanized battalion of the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a senior soldier.
He was born on 1 June, 1969 in Uzhhorod, Transcarpathian region. He graduated the high school №17 of the city of Uzhhorod (now - the educational complex "Harmonia").
He served in the border troops.
He worked on a forest stand, falsified in a security bureau.
On 2 June 2, 2015, the Volunteer Uzhhorod Unified City Military Commissariat mobilized him the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as the gunner of the 3rd mechanized platoon of the 1st mechanized company of the mechanized battalion of the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit of V0927, the city of Severodonetsk / Lisichansk, Luhansk region).
From the summer-autumn of 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On November 26, 2015, the senior soldier Birovchak died in Konstantinovka district, Donetsk region.
On 9 December, 2015 he was buried at the Dominino Cemetery in Uzhgorod.

Honorary citizen of the city of Uzhgorod (August 30, 2016, posthumously).
On 30 September, 2016, a memorial plaque was established in the city of Uzhhorod at the building of the Harmonia educational-educational complex (Domaninskaya Street, 263), where Yuriy Birovchak studied. In March 2016, by order of the Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, according to the made decision Kolhospina Street was renamed to the Street of Yuriy Birovchak.
