Boyko Petro Leonidovych was the commander of intelligence department of the 128th separate mountain-infantry brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, sergeant.
He was born on 17 May, 1970 in the village Koritny, Yarmolinetsi district, Khmelnytsky region. He lived in the village Moskalivka, Yarmolinetsi district. He graduated the high school in the village Moskalivka.
He passed the regular military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR. He served in the airborne troops. He had the experience of fighting.
He worked at Yarmolinetsi Professional Lyceum in the town Yarmolyntsi, Khmelnytsky region.
On 2 August, 2014, a volunteer was mobilized into the Armed forces of Ukraine. He served as the commander of the intelligence division of the 128th Special Mountain-Infantry Brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1778, Mukacheve, Transcarpathian region).
Since autumn 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 6 January, 2015, Sergeant Boyko was killed in a sniper ball near the village Nikishin, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region.
On 11 January, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village Moskalivka, Yarmolinetsi district, Khmelnytsky region.
He was awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the 3rd class (05/25/2015, posthumously).

On 27 September, 2015, in the village Moskalivka, a memorial plaque was established on the building of a secondary school (40th anniversary of Victory Street, 3), where Boyko Petro studied.
