Chabanchuk Denis Mykolayovych was the commander of snipers platoon of 15th Guards separate mountain infantry battalion 128th separate Guards mountain infantry brigade Transcarpathian Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant.
He was born on September 2, 1992 in Lutsk, Volyn region. In 2009 he graduated the secondary school №26 Lutsk.
Since 2009, he was in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2013 he graduated the Hetman Sahaidachny Army Academy (Lviv), speciality "Management actions divisions of mechanized troops."
From 2013 he served in the 15th Separate Guards Mountain Infantry Battalion, 128 th separate Guards mountain infantry brigade Transcarpathian Land Force of Ukraine (military unit A1778 city Uzhhorod Transcarpathian region).
Since the summer of 2014 he took part in anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On February 17, 2015 Lt. Chabanchuk died during the redeployment of troops from the city Debaltseve as a result of hitting the car in which he was, in a mine near the village of Kalinovka Artemovsk (now - Bakhmut) Donetsk region.
On March 15, 2015 he was buried in the Alley of honorary burial in the village cemetery city Garazdzha, Lutsk district, Volyn region.
On December 20, 2015 in Lutsk on the house (street Konyakina 29a), where Chabanchuk Denis lived, the memorial plaque was established to him.
He was awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III degree (15.5.2015, posthumously).
