Cherdlovs‘kyy Mykola Mykolayovych was the deputy commander of a combat vehicle - gunner-operator of the 8th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 72nd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Senior sergeant.
He was born on 29 December, 1980 in the city Apostolove, Dnipropetrovsk region. He graduated the secondary school №3 of the city of Apostolove.
He passed the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He lived in the city Vyshgorod, Kyiv region.
On 26 March, 2014 he was mobilized in the armed forces of Ukraine. He served as deputy commander of a combat vehicle - gunner-operator of the 8th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, the city of Bila Tserkva of the Kyiv region).
From 2014 he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
In August 2014, Mykola Cherdlovs‘kyy was seriously wounded in the battles for the city of Ilovaysk, Donetsk region, and was captured. After being released from prison and treatment he returned to the front line.
On November 29, 2014, Sergeant Mykola Cherdlovs‘kyy died as a result of a fire at the head during a combat task in the district of the urban type of Novotroitsk, Volnavakha district,Donetsk region.
He was buried in the cemetery of the city Apostolov, Dnipropetrovsk region.

On September 24, 2015, in the city Apostolov, a memorial plaque was established on the building of the secondary school № 3 (Vyzvolenya Street, 30), where Mykola Cherdlovsky studied.
