Chetvertakov Viktor Hryhorovych was a serviceman of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 24 April, 1958, in the village Priazovsk, Priazovsk district of the Zaporizhya region. He graduated the high school number 1 of the urban type of Priazovsk (now - Priazovsky multi-profile specialized school № 1 "Azimuth").
He passed the regular military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR.
He was the head of the farm "Nina".
On August 7, 2014, as a volunteer, he was mobilized by the Priazovsk District Military Commissariat to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The military commissariat initially refused to mobilize a large-parent father, but he insisted on writing a corresponding statement. He was trained in the 6th artillery regiment (military unit A0473, the village of the Girls‘ Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky district of the Kyiv region). He served in the 72nd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region).
Since September 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
He was seriously injured during a battle with terrorists in the Volnovakha district of the Donetsk region. He was treated at the Dnipropetrovsk hospital, but the efforts of doctors proved to be useless. On October 6, 2014, a soldier Chetvertakov died of injuries.
On 9 October, 2014 he was buried in the Central Cemetery in the village Priazovsk Priazovsk district, Zaporizhya region.
He is the honorary citizen of the Priazovsk district.
The wife and four children are left.
On 20 August, 2015, in the town of Priazovsk, a memorial plaque was established on the building of the Priazovsk multi-profile specialized school № 1 "Azimut" (Gorky Street, 74), where Victor Chetvertakov studied.
