Tsikalo Bohdan Bohdanovych was the head of the short-wave radio station of low power of the 24th separate mechanized Samara-Ulyanovsk Berdichev Iron Order of the October Revolution, three times the Order of the Red Banner, the orders of Suvorov and Bogdan Khmelnytsky Brigade named after Prince Danyl Galician Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 27 December, 1990 in the city Kamianka-Buzka, Lviv region. He graduated the secondary school No.2 named after Gregoriy Tyutyunnik of Kamyanka-Buzka city, then - Higher vocational school №71 of Kamyanka-Buzka city.
He served the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the spring of 2014 he was mobilized into the Armed forces of Ukraine. He served in the 24th separate mechanized Samara-Ulyanovsk Berdichev Iron Order of the October Revolution, three times the Order of the Red Banner, the orders of Suvorov and Bogdan Khmelnytsky Brigade named after Prince Danylo Halitskiy Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0998, city Yavoriv, Lviv region).
In the spring of 2014, he participated in an anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 11 July, 2014, near the village Zelenopillia, Sverdlovsk (from 2016 - Dovzhansk) district, Luhansk region, Russian-terrorist groups fired a base camp of Ukrainian military from the rocket launchers BM-21 "Grad" at around 4:30 am. As a result of the bombing, 7 soldiers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and 30 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, among them Bohdan Tsikalo was, died.
On 19 July, 2014 he was buried in the cemetery of the city Kamenka-Buzka.
On 9 October, 2015 in the city of Kamenka-Buzka, on the facade of the building of the secondary school №2 named after Gregoriy Tyutyunnik (Shevchenko street, 45), where Bohdan Tsikalo studied , the memorial plaque was established.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the third class (14.03.2015; posthumously).
