Didushko Oleh Anatoliyovych was the shooter of the 3rd division of the platoon for the protection of the objects of the 27th rifle company of the 7th Infantry Battalion of the 2nd separate Galician brigade of the Western Operational-Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 17 March, 1972 in the city Kiev. He graduated the high school №108 in the city Kiev.
He passed the regular military service in the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR. In the early 1990s, he participated in curbing the inter-ethnic conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
He lived in the Holosiivskyi district of the city Kyiv. He was a member of the NGO "Human Rights".
In the winter of 2013-2014 he was on the Independence Square in Kyiv, where he took an active part in the Revolution of Dignity. On 18 February, 2014 he was wounded in the foot on Hrushevsky Street.
In May 2014, he volunteered to join the National Guard of Ukraine. In May-July 2014 he served as a grenade launcher of the 2nd Reserve Battalion of Operational Purpose of the National Guard of Ukraine (now - the Battalion of Operational Mission (reserve battalion) named after Hero of Ukraine, General Serhiy Kulchytsky, National Guard of Ukraine).
Since May 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Nine service is under the city of Barvinok Kharkiv region, then - under the city Slavyansk Donetsk region. Participated in the liberation of the Slavic city.
In August 2014, he served as an archer of the 3rd Division of the Platoon for the Protection of the 27th Infantry Company of the 7th Infantry Battalion of the 2nd Halytska Brigade of the Western Operational-Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine (Military Division 3002, Lviv) .
In the autumn of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine again. His service was under the city Debaltsevo, Donetsk region.
On 7 February, 2015, at around 22.30, during a service at the checkpoint near the town Debaltsevo, Donetsk region, the group, which included the soldier Didushko, was under the continuous artillery and the mortar fire of the enemy and adopted a battle with the superior forces of the enemy. During the fight, Oleh Didushko received the numerous fragments of injuries, from which he died.
On 10 February, 2015, he was buried at the Soviyskiy Cemetery in Kyiv.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (25.03.2015; posthumously).
On 13 October, 2015 in the city Kiev on the facade of the building of the comprehensive school №108 (Ural 2/10 street), where Oleh Didushko studied, the memorial plaque was established.
