Duryba Yaroslav Vasyl‘ovych was the intelligence officer of the 6th mechanized company of the 2nd mechanized battalion of the 17th separate Guard Kriviy Rih Territory brigade of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the senior soldier.
He was born on 21 September, 1973 in the village Dogmarivka, Henichesk District, Kherson region. In 1988 he graduated the 8 grades of secondary school in the village Dogmarivka, in 1991 - Vocational School №17 of the city Henichesk, Kherson region, specializing in "Driver, mechanic for repairing cars".
From 9 December, 1991 to 1993, he was in the regular military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR / Ukraine. He served in the city Anapa Krasnodar Territory, Russian Federation, since 1992 - in Uzhgorod district, Transcarpathian region.
After the army he worked in the collective farm named after Shevchenko in the village Dogmarivka. In 1994 he finished the training courses in the field of tractor driver-machinist. In 2000 he resigned from the collective farm in the with the separation of his land share.
He worked as the pump engineer engineer at the Genichesk management of irrigation systems (now - the General Directorate of Water Management of the Kherson Regional Department of Water Resources). After a while he retired from work for the health reasons. He had the problems with the heart and thepressure. He was registered at the Kherson Cardiology Clinic. Every 3 months he was treated with the cardiologist and took the medications on a daily basis.
Since 2012 he has been a driver at the Limited Liability Company "Aris LTD", a production and commercial firm in the city Kherson.
On 21 August, 2014, a volunteer was mobilized into the Armed forces of Ukraine. The military service was held in the 17th separate Guard Kryviy Rih tank brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A3283 (field post V3675), the city Kryviy Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region).
From 19 November, 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 15 May, 2015, the senior soldier Duryba was killed as a result of a penetrating gunshot wound on the lateral part of the trunk that was received during a Russian-terrorist group attack on the blockade of the Ukrainian military near the village Stanitsa, Lugansk district, Lugansk region.
On 20 May, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village Dogmarivka, Genichesk District.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (13.08.2015; posthumously).
