Habchak Ivan Mykolayovych was the commander of reconnaissance platoon audiometric Intelligence Division 55th Artillery Brigade separate Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant.
He was born on June 29, 1992 in the village Ulychna Drohobych district, Lviv region. In 2009 he graduated the secondary school Ulychna village, Drohobych district.
Since 2009, he was in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2014 he graduated the Hetman Sahaidachny Army Academy (L‘viv), speciality "Complex and devices artillery reconnaissance."
From 2014 he served in a separate 55th artillery brigade of the Land Force of Ukraine (military unit A1978 city of Zaporozhye).
Since the summer of 2014 he took part in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
He died on August 25, 2014 near the village Starobeshevo, Ilovaisky district, Donetsk region when leaving the "Ilovaisky pot".
On September 5, 2014 he was buried in the cemetery of the village Ulychna Drohobych district, Lviv region.
On April 4, 2015 in the village Ulychna Drohobych district on the facade of the building of secondary school (Carpathian street, 3), where he studied John Habchak, the memorial plaque was established.
He was awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III degree (31/10/2014, posthumously).
