Henych Volodymyr Mykhaylovych was the grenade launcher of the 30th individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 10 May, 1994 in the village Verbluzhka, Novgorodkivsk District, Kirovograd region. In 2011, he graduated the Verbluzhka Educational Complex "I-III General Education School - Preschool School", in May 2012 - Interregional Center for Professional Retraining of Servicemen Released in the Specialty "Locksmith for the Repair of Vehicles. The driver of motor vehicles (category B) "(Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region).
He passed the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He studied at the 38th Joint Training Center of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0704, the city of Vasylkiv, Kyiv region). He served at the 40th Brigade of the tactical aviation (fighter) of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1786, the city Vasylkiv, Kyiv region).
Then he served as a grenade launcher of the 30th individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409, the city Novograd-Volyn, Zhytomyr region).
In the spring of 2014, he participated in an anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 4 July, 2014, the soldier Henych was killed as a result of a fire on a blockade of a mechanized brigade near the village VelykaVerhunka in the north-eastern suburbs of Luhansk.
He was buried in the cemetery of the village Verbluzhka, Novgorod district, Kirovograd region.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III class (14.11.2014; posthumously).

On 30 April, 2015, in the village Verbluzhka on the facade of the building of the educational complex (Belyaev Street, 95), where Henych Volodymyr studied , the memorial plaque was established. According to the decision of the session of Verbluzhka Village Council, the Kalinin Street renamed to Henych street.
