Ivakh Dmitry was the acting commander of the 1st Airborne assault company of the 1st airborne assault battalion 95th separate airborne brigade of highly mobile airborne troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant.
He was born on October 1, 1989 in the city of Khmelnitsky. In 2005 he graduated 9 classes of the specialized secondary school №27 city of Khmelnitsky, and in 2008 he graduated the Khmelnitsky Higher professional school №11 city of speciality "mechanical fitter."
In 2008, he was drafted for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 80th separate airborne regiment highly mobile airborne troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0284 city Lviv, in 2014 - the 80th separate airborne brigade). In 2009 he was dismissed from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in reserve.
Since 2009, he served under contract in the 8th separate special purpose regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0553, the city Khmelnitsky).
From 2009 to 2013 he studied at the Hetman Sahaidachny Army Academy in the Faculty of airborne troops and intelligence speciality "Management actions of Airborne Forces units".
From 2013 he served as commander of the 1st Airborne assault platoon of the 1st Airborne assault company of the 1st airborne assault battalion of the 95th separate airborne brigade of highly mobile airborne troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0281 Town Zhytomyr).
On the spring of 2014 he took part in anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On January 18, 2015 during the holding of the corridor to the airport in Donetsk (village Spartacus, Yaynuvatskyy district, Donetsk region) soldiers came under fire MLRS "Grad", as a result Lieutenant Ivakh fell from received wounds to the head.
On 22 January 2015 he was buried in the Alley of Glory Cemetery Khmelnytsky.
He was awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III degree (15.5.2015, posthumously).
