Kotvits‘kyy Ruslan Rostyslavovych was a serviceman of the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born 22 June, 1977 in the village Dzerzhinsk (from 2003 - Romaniv), Zhytomyr region. Since the 1980s he lived in the village Karvinivka, Romaniv district, Zhytomyr region. In 1994, he graduated the secondary school in the village Karvinivka.
On 11 March, 2015 he was mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served at the 53rd separate mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit В0927, city Severodonetsk / Lisichansk, Luhansk region).
Since 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 24 October, 2015, soldier Kotvits‘kyy died during a combat task.
On 30 October, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village Karvinivka, Romaniv district, Zhytomyr region.
The parents, the brother, the wife and two daughters are left.
On 13 October, 2016, in the village of Karvinivka, at the building of a secondary school (Vinogradova str., 5), where Ruslan Kotvits‘kyy studied, the memorial plaque was established.
