Kravchuk Vladimir Serhiyovych was the commander of the 2nd platoon of special purpose 1st special purpose company of the 1st battalion of special purpose "Bars" 1 Brigade operational quickly designation of the North-territorial unification of the National Guard of Ukraine, Lieutenant.
He was born on August 23, 1992 in Kyiv. In 2009 he graduated the secondary school №275 of Kyiv.
Since 2009, he served in the Internal Troops of Ukraine (2014 - Ukraine National Guard). In 2013 he graduated the Academy of Internal Troops of Ukraine (2014 - Academy of National Guard of Ukraine) in Kharkiv in "military government". He served as commander of the 2nd platoon of special purpose 1st special purpose company of the 1st battalion of special purpose "Bars" 1 Brigade operational quickly designation of the North-territorial unification Ukraine National Guard (military unit 3027, the village Petrivtsi Vyshgorod district of Kyiv area). He took part in the protection of public order in Kyiv during the events of the Revolution of dignity.
In the spring of 2014 he took part in anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On June 19, 2014, Lieutenant Kravchuk died during the liberation townships Yampol Krasnolymanska Donetsk region, hitting a separatist ambush between settlements and Yampol Zakitne. The ball hit on a sniper guardian when he was near an armored fighting vehicle. Lieutenant Kravchuk received gunshot wounds in the head and chest, incompatible with life. Vladimir Kravchuk did not save even a Kevlar helmet and body armor of English production.
On June 22, 2014 he was buried in the Forest Cemetery in Kiev.
He was awarded the Order "For courage» III degree (15.7.2014, posthumously).
In September 2014, the name of Vladimir Kravchuk was used to call the secondary school №275 of Kyiv (Prospect Vladimir Mayakovsky, 3 g), in which he studied. In August 23, 2014 in the front of the school the memorial plaque was established. Order of the National Guard of Ukraine №110 of June 24, 2014 Lieutenant V. Kravchuk forever was enrolled in the list of personnel of the 1st special purpose company 1st battalion of special purpose "Bars" 1 Brigade operational quickly designation of the North-territorial unification Ukraine National Guard, in which he served.
