Kushnir Ihor Leonidovych was a serviceman of the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 4 April, 1980 in the village Mechyslavka, Ulyanovsk (from 2016 - Blahovishchensk) district, Kirovograd region. He graduated the secondary school of the village Metsislavka. He worked as a freelance worker from a local farmer.
On 7 June 7, 2015, he was mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit В0927, the city of Severodonetsk / Lisichansk, Luhansk region).
Since 2015 he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On the night of July 27th-July 28, 2016, soldier Kushnir died under the guise of fighting contact with the hostile diversion intelligence group in the area of the city Volnovakha, Donetsk region.
On 31 July 31, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the village Mechyslavka, Blahovishchensk district, Kirovograd region.
The mother, two brothers and the sister are left.
