Lepekha Andrey Anatolievich was the chief of the Operating warehouses and repair of means of providing central management of fuels and lubricants Rear Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel.
He was born on May 15, 1969 in Krolevets Sumy region. He graduated the high school №4 in Krolevec and special vocational school (now - professional agrarian lyceum) in the village Reutyntsi, Krolevetsky district.
He was in the Armed Forces of the USSR / Ukraine since the late 1980s. In 1992 he graduated the Kiev Higher Tank Engineering School in 1993 - Kyiv Institute of Land Forces of Ukraine. He served as deputy commander of the repair company 274 th training tank regiment (the city of Nikolayev, Odessa Military District) in 1994-2009 years - in leadership positions in 169 training center Land Forces of Ukraine (urban village Desna Kozelets district, Chernihiv region) in the years 2009-2014 - Head of fire safety Commander Land Forces of Ukraine (Kyiv), from 2014 - head of operation of warehouses and repair of means of providing central management of fuels and lubricants rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Kyiv).
In 2014-2015 three years he was on mission in the area of anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine, where he managed the logistics of providing fuel. The last mission performed the task of providing fuel grouping of troops, which was located in Debaltsevo Donetsk region.
On February 16 and 17, 2015 he was included in the senior columns performing combat tasks in transportation logistic facilities on the route Artemovsk - Debaltseve. His actions ensured timely delivery of ammunition, food and fuel needed to maintain combat readiness of military units.
On February 17, 2015 at 22.30 hours column, returning back to the village Nizhne Lozove, Artemovsk district, Donetsk region came under the shelling of enemy. During this attack, Colonel Lepekha died. Only in April 2015 his body was identified among the dead.
On April 3, 2015 he was buried at the Central Cemetery in Krolevets.
He was awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III degree (15.5.2015, posthumously) medals.
In October 2015 Krolevets on the building of secondary school №4 (street Intercession, 19), where A.A.Lepeha studied, the memorial plaque was established.
