Likhtarchuk Anatoliy Mykhaylovych was the senior engineer-engineer platoon of the 72nd individual mechanized brigade of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 19 December, 1979, in the village Velikaya Korenyka, Mykolayiv district, Mykolaiv region (since 1996, a settlement in the city of Mykolaiv). He studied at secondary school №23 of the city of Mykolayiv (a settlement of the city type Bely Koreniha). After finishing the seventh grade of a secondary school with his family he lived in the city of Mykolaiv. He graduated the secondary school №10 of the city of Nikolaev and the Nikolayev Technical College of Railway Transport named after Academician VM Obraztsov (now - Miklaevsky College of Transport Infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan). He worked as a carpenter at the 61 Kommunar shipyard in Mykolaiv. Subsequently he was engaged in entrepreneurial activity, trading in the market.
He was a member of the public organization to protect the order "Protection" of the Leninsky district of the city of Nikolaev.
In January 2015, he was mobilized as a volunteer in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He received military training at the 235th general shooting range "Shiroky lan" (military unit B3416, Ulyanivka village of Nikolaev district, Mykolaiv region). Served as a senior engineer and engineer platoon of the 72nd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region).
From March 2015, he participated in an anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Callsign "Firefly(Svitlyachock)".
On November 10, 2015, a group of servicemen, in which the soldier Likhtarchuk acted, during the reconnaissance was assaulted by an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group near Granitne, Volnavakha district, Donetsk region. In the course of the battle, Anatoliy Lichtarchuk died, struck by stretch marks.
On 13 November, 2015 he was buried on the Alley of Glory of the Central City Cemetery in the city of Nikolaev in the village Myshkovo-Pogorilove, Jovtneviy (from 2016 - Vitovsky) district, Mykolaiv region.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (25.12.2015; posthumously).
