Lukashuk Andriy Stepanovych was the mechanic-driver of the 30th separate mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 21 January, 1986 in the village Preobrazhenka Chaplinsk district, Kherson region. Subsequently, along with his family, he moved to a permanent residence in the village Kurovka in the Gorodok district, Khmelnytsky region. He graduated the comprehensive school in the village Kurovka.
He passed the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the Separate Kiev regiment of the President of Ukraine of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0222, city Kyiv).
He studied at the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (Kyiv), but after 3 years of study he left the studies.
He lived in Kiev. He worked as a moulder at the Public Joint Stock Company "Plant of reinforced concrete structures named after Svetlana Kovalska" (Kyiv city).
On June 19, 2014, the Svyatoshinsky district police station the military commissariat in Kyiv mobilized him into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a mechanic-driver of the 30th individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409, the city Novograd-Volyn, Zhytomyr region).
Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 1 September, 2014, about 5:00 am, soldier Lukashuk died as a result of numerous bullet wounds in the battle near the city Lutugin, Luhansk region.
On 6 September, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village Kurovka in the Gorodok district, Khmelnytsky region.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (05/15/2015; posthumously).
The mother, the wife and two sons are left.
On 1 September, 2015, in the village Kurovka on the building of a secondary school (Hrushevsky Street, 53), where Andriy Lukashuk studied, the memorial plaque was established.
