Maksymchuk Stanislav Viktorovych was the grenade launcher of a mechanized battalion of the 30th individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, senior soldier.
He was born on 15 June, 1995 in the village Goloby, Kovel district, Volyn region. He graduated the educational complex "secondary school of the I-III degrees - the gymnasium" of the village Goloby.
He was in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from 2013. He served under a contract with a grenade launcher mechanized battalion of the 30th individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409, the city of Novograd-Volyn, Zhytomyr region).
From spring-summer 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He was the participant in the fighting for strategically important height of Savur-Mohyla (Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region), behind the village Stepanivka, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region.
On 28 July, 2014, the senior soldier Maksymchuk died during the search-and-shock operations in the village Stepanivka, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region.
He was buried in the cemetery of Goloby village, Kovel district, Volyn region.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (05/15/2015; posthumously).
The parents and the brother are left.
On 29 May, 2015, in the village Goloby, a memorial plaque was established on the building of the educational complex "secondary school of І-ІІІ degrees - gymnasium" (Pobedy Street, 1), where Stanislav Maksymchuk studied. On 10 November, 2014, the the memorial corner for the hero was established in the educational complex. On 22 May, 2015 in the city Kovel, Volyn region, a commemorative sign was opened to the soldiers,who perished during the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine, including the name of Stanislav Maksymchuk.
