Muzyka Roman Petrovych was the tank commander of the 1st Panzer Battalion of the 1 st Guards Tank Brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, sergeant.
He was born on 3 June, 1976 in the village Vypovsykh, Kozeletsky district, Chernihiv region. He graduated a secondary school.
He passed the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In March 2014, he was mobilized into the armed forces of Ukraine. He served as the tank commander of the 1st Panzer Battalion of the 1st Specialized Guards Tank Brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1815, urban-type settlement Goncharivka, Chernihiv district, Chernihiv region).
From 2014 he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 16 August, 2014 Sergeant Muzyka died during a bombardment with BM-21 "Grad" during a search-and-shock operation in the area of the village Krasnoye Krasnodonsky (from 2016 - Sorokinsky) district, Luhansk region.
He was buried in the cemetery of the village of Vypovsykh, Kozeletsky district, Chernihiv region.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (10/31/2014; posthumously).
The parents, the brother, the wife, two daughters are left.
According to the order of the Oster city council №18 dated February 19, 2016, the street Schorsa in the village of Lyubechaninov, Kozeletsky district, Chernihiv region, was renamed to Roman Muzyka.
