Nazarenko Yan Frantasiyovych was a serviceman of the 72nd separate guards mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 9 March, 1991 in the village Fastivets, Fastiv District, Kyiv Region. He graduated the comprehensive school in the village Fastivets and the Kiev higher vocational school of rail transport. He worked as a conductor on the railway.
He passed the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In February 2015, he was mobilized into the armed forces of Ukraine. He served at the 72nd Special Guard Mechanized Brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region).
In the spring of 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 20 February, 2016, the soldier Nazarenko died from a sniper‘s ball at his head near the village Starognativka, Volnavakha district, Donetsk region.
On 24 February, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the village Fastivets, Fastiv district, Kyiv region.
The parents, the brother and two sisters are left.
On 20 May, 2016, in the village of Fastivets, on the facade of a secondary school (Druzhby street, 123), where Yan Nazarenko studied, the memorial plaque was established.
