Nekhay Oleksandr Volodymyrovych was the chief sergeant of the engineering and technical platoon of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Senior sergeant.
He was born on 4 January, 1976, in the village Sukholisy, Bila Tserkva district, Kyiv region. In 1990, he graduated the 8 classes of the village of Sukholisy.
He lived in the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region.
He served under the contract as the chief sergeant of the engineering platoon of the 72nd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, the city of Bila Tserkva of the Kyiv region).
From 2014 he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 14 July, 2014 Senior Sergeant Nekhay died during the destruction of anti-tank mines as a result of its undermining in the village Dibrotiv, Shakhtarsky district of Donetsk region.
He was buried in the cemetery of the village Sukholisy, Bila Tserkva district, Kyiv region.
He was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky III class (09/29/2014; posthumously).
Honorary citizen of the city of Bila Tserkva (14.10.2014; posthumously).
The parents, the wife and the son are left.
On 5 December, 2014, in the villageSukholisy, at the building of the educational complex "Secondary School of I-II Degrees - Kindergarten" (Gagarin Street, 5 ), where Nekhay Oleksandr studied, the memorial plaque was established.
