Nestorenko Oleksandr Vasyl‘ovych was the driver of the 95th separate aeromobile brigade of the High-Military Allied Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 29 October, 1974 in the city of Lebedyn, Sumy region. He graduated the secondary school №6 of the city of Lebedyn and Lebedyn Special Vocational School №4 (now - State vocational and technical educational establishment "Lebedyn higher vocational school of forestry") in the field of "tractor driver".
In 1994-1996 he was in the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a driver in the military part of the air defense.
After demobilization, he returned to Lebedyn. He worked as an accomplice, a loader, a receptionist, a driver. Prior to mobilization, he worked as a driver of a transport company in Kyiv.
In March 2014, he was mobilized into the armed forces of Ukraine. He received the military training at the 169th Training Center of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0665, village settlement of the Desna district of the Kozeletsky district of the Chernihiv region). He served in the 95th separate airmobile brigade of the High-Ambulance Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0281, city of Zhytomyr). In the spring of 2014, along with its unit, he was located on the administrative border with the annexed Crimea.
Since April 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. A participant of fights around the city of Slovyansk, Donetsk region and in his suburbs.
At the end of the second month of staying at the front, Nestorenko Oleksandr became ill. He was sent to the hospital, then gave a leave. Kyiv doctors found out that a soldier had a cancerous kidney tumor, moreover, very running, with metastases. The cause of the disease, which has rapidly developed, was the stress received in the area of hostilities. Doctors fought for a long time during Nestorenko Oleksandr life, but their efforts proved to be in vain. On 16 October, 2014, he died at the National Military Medical Clinical Center "Chief Military Clinical Hospital" (Kyiv city).
He was buried at Troytskyi cemetery in Lebedyn.
The wife and four children (three daughters and a son) are left.
