Oliferchuk Yuriy Leontiyovych was the scout sniper 30th separate mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 30 October, 1992 in the city Rivne. He lived in the village of Berezovyi Grud, Luhyn district, Zhytomyr region. He graduated Radohoshcha educational complex "I-III comprehensive educational institution - pre-school educational institution" of the village of Radogoshcha, Luhyn district.
He passed the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He worked on the construction in Kiev.
On 18 March, 2014 he was mobilized in the Armed forces of Ukraine. He served as an intelligence sniper of the 30th individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409, the city Novograd-Volyn, Zhytomyr region).
From spring-summer 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 11 July, 2014, in the city Oleksandrivsk, Luhansk City Council, a column of Ukrainian troops, consisting of a soldier Oliferchuk, fell under the ambush of terrorists. The enemy captured the military equipment. Soldier Oliferchuk personally led the reconnaissance office in the repulsion of the military equipment in the absence of the commander. During the battle he died.
On 15 July, 2014 he was buried in the cemetery of the village Berezovyi Grud, Luhyn district, Zhytomyr region.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III class (14.11.2014; posthumously).
The parents, the sister and two brothers are left.
On 30 September, 2014, in the village of Radogoshcha, a memorial plaque was established on the facade of the building of the educational complex ( Shklyna Street, 2), where Yuriy Oliferchuk studied.
