Oliynyk Ivan Anatoliyovych was the mechanic-electrician of the 30th separate mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 27 July, 1993 in the city Pyriatyn, Poltava region. In 2008, he graduated the 9th forms of the secondary school №3 of the city Pyriatyn, in 2010 - the secondary school №4 of the city of Pyriatyn, in 2011 - the Pryluky vocational and technical lyceum (the city Pryluky, Chernihiv region), specializing in locksmith mechanics.
In 2011-2012 he was in the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as the mechanic-driver of anti-aircraft installations of the 1121st separate training anti-aircraft missile artillery regiment of the 169th Training Center of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A3435, the village Desna, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region). From 2012 he served under the contract as a mechanic-electrician of the 30th separate mechanized brigade of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409, the city Novograd-Volyn, Zhytomyr region).
In the spring of 2014 he carried the service at the checkpoints in the Kherson region on the administrative border with the occupied Russian troops of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
From spring-summer 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He was the participant in the fighting for strategically important height Savur-Mohyla (Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region), behind the village Stepanivka, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region.
On 11 August, 2014, at 14:00, soldier Oliynyk died during the shelling of BM-21 "Grad" armored vehicles and tanks of the brigade command post near the village of Stepanivka, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region.
He was buried in the cemetery of Pyriatyn, Poltava region.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (05/15/2015; posthumously).
The parents, the wife and the son are left.
From 2015, in the city of Pyriatyn, a chess tournament will be held in memory of Ivan Oliynyk.
