Oncharov Sergey Oleksandrovich was the commander of platoon 28 th separate Guards Mechanized Brigade Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant.
He was born on April 25, 1992 in Dzhankoy, Crimea. In 2009 he graduated the Crimean Republican Boarding Lyceum with increased military and physical training in Alushta, Crimea.
Since 2009, he was in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2013 he graduated the Hetman Sahaidachny Army Academy (Lviv), speciality "Management actions divisions mechanized forces."
From 2013 he served in the 28th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0666; urban village Black Kominternovsky district of Odessa region).
Since the summer of 2014 he took part in anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
He died in August 21, 2014, protecting a soldier and he saved the life during the attack of terrorists MLRS "Grad" Ukrainian military positions near the townships Kuteinikov, Amvrosiivskyi district, Donetsk region.
On August 28, 2014 he was buried in the cemetery Dzhankoy.
He was awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III degree (15.5.2015, posthumously).
