Parubets Sergey Serhiyovych was the gunner of 2nd Airborne assault platoon of the 1st Airborne assault company of the 1st airborne assault battalion 95th separate airborne brigade of highly mobile airborne troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, soldier.
He was born on February 10, 1995 in the village Drimaylivka Kulikovsky area Chernihiv region. In 2010 he graduated 9 classes of secondary school Drimaylivka village. In 2012 he graduated the secondary school Veresoch, Kulikovsky district, Chernihiv region.
From 2013 he had the military service under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a gunner 2nd Airborne assault platoon of the 1st Airborne assault company of the 1st airborne assault battalion of the 95th separate airborne brigade of highly mobile airborne troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0281; Zhytomyr city).
Since April 2014 he took part in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
January 18, 2015 near the village of Spartak Yasinovatskiy Donetsk region, a division which soldeir Parubets serviced during the battle of Russian-terrorist groups came under fire from the MLRS "Grad". In the result of the shelling Sergey Parubets died from his injuries.
On January 21, 2015 he was buried in the cemetery of the village Drimaylivka, Kulikovsky district.
In 2015, the village Drimaylivka on the facade of the building of secondary school (street Proletarian, 3), where Sergey Parubets studied, the memorial plaque was established.
He was awarded the Order "For courage" of III degree (23.5.2015, posthumously).
