Pasichnyuk Serhiy Volodymyrovych was the scout of the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, petty officer.
He was born on 9 December, 1969 in Buzivka village, Zhashkiv district, Cherkasy region. He graduated the 8th form of the secondary school of Buzivka village and the technical school of the city of Tarashka, Kyiv region, in the specialty "electrician".
He passed the regular military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR. Served in airborne troops.
After demobilization he returned to the village Buzivka. Since 1991 he worked as a teacher of the subject "Protection of the Fatherland" at Buzovsky secondary school. In 1997 he graduated Mykolayiv Pedagogical Institute. Since 1997 he also taught physical education.
With the onset of Russian aggression, he took an active part in volunteering, assisted the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In December 2014, he joined a volunteer battalion and went to fight in the anti-terrorist zone to the east of Ukraine.
On February 13, 2015 he was called by the Severodonetsk City Military Commissariat of the Luhansk Region to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a scout of the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit В0927, city Severodonetsk / Lisichansk Luhansk region).
During 2015, he continued to participate in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 22 August, 2015, Pasichnyuk Serhiy was killed by blasting at the hostile mini at carrying out a combat task for reconnaissance of the front edge of the enemy near the city of Avdiyivka, Donetsk region.
On 27 August, 2015 he was buried in the cemetery of Buzivka village, Zhashkiv district, Cherkasy region.
He was awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the 3rd class (25.12.2015, posthumously).

On 9 December, 2015, in the village of Buzivka, on the building of a secondary school (Parkhomenko street, 1), where Serhiy Pasichnyuk studied and worked, the memorial plaque was established. The street in Buzivka village was called after his name.
