Pyyasyuk Roman Volodymyrovych was the driver of the 1st separate Guard tank brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sergeant.
He was born on 19 August, 1975 in the city Kostopol, Rivne region. He lived in the village Piskiv, Kostopil district, Rivne region. He graduated the comprehensive school of the Piskiv village, Kostopol district and Kamin-Kashirsk vocational school (now Kamin-Kashirskij high vocational school) in the Kamin-Kashirsky region, Volyn region, specializing in carpentry in 1995.
From 3 December, 1993 to 16 June, 1995, he served the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
From 19 October, 1995 to 15 February, 1998, he served under the contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the military unit in the city Kostopol, Rivne region.
Since 1998, he worked as a truck driver from private entrepreneurs in the Rivne region, transporting goods within Ukraine.
On 5 September, 2014, as a volunteer, he was mobilized into the armed forces of Ukraine. Served as a driver of the 1st Special Guard Tank Brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1815, settlement of the urban type of Goncharivka, Chernihiv district, Chernihiv region).
From autumn-winter 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 10 March, 2015, Sergeant Pyasyuk broke into a "stretch" during a combat mission in the village Zlatoustovka, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region.
On 15 March, 2015 he was buried in the cemetery of the village Piskiv, Kostopil district, Rivne region.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (March 21, 2016; posthumously).
The wife, the daughter and the son are left.
In the village of Piskiv on the building of general education damage (Shevchenko street, 45), where Pyyasyuk Roman studied, the memorial plaque was established.
