Podolianchuk Evgen Petrovich was the commander of a special purpose company Special purpose special unit of the 3rd separate regiment of the Main Directorate of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine captain (posthumously).
He was born in July 4, 1991 in Cherkasy. In 2008 he graduated the specialized school №3 of Cherkasy.
At age 14, Evgen Podolianchuk joined the National Scout Organization of Ukraine "Plast". He was the disciple of youth formation booth Yaroslav the Wise (village Cherkasy). The oath was made on July 18, 2006. In 2006 he was a member of the regional Vyshkilnyj camp "Legion" (Black Forest, Ivano-Frankivsk region), in 2007 - the first of Regional flying camp "Cota Winged" (Lukvytsya village Bohorodchany district Ivano-Frankivsk region). In November 2012 he applied to join the senior ulaid plastunstvo, and in April 2013 he passed the Regional Youth training educators number 131. In July 2014 formally adopted for senior ulaid plastunstva.
Since 2008, he was in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2012 he graduated with honors and reconnaissance airborne troops of the Hetman Sahaidachny Army (Lviv), speciality "Management actions military intelligence units and special."
From 2012 he served in the 3rd separate regiment of the Main Directorate of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (military unit A0680, Kirovograd).
Since April 2014 he took part in anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On September 14, 2014 Lt. Podolianchuk died in the defense of the Donetsk airport, protecting the withdrawal of military counterparts.
On September 18, 2014 he was buried in the cemetery of the village Krut‘ko Chornobai Cherkasy region.
On February 22, 2016 by the Mayor of Cherkasy, Nuzhnya Komsomolskaya Str. was renamed to the Lt. Podolianchuk Str.
He was awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III degree (10.6.2014, posthumously), the medal "Honor" (08.11.2014) Iron Cross Plast (09/18/2014, posthumous) award "People‘s Hero of Ukraine" (02/10/2016; posthumously), honors "Merit for the Cherkassy Region" and the diploma of the Cherkasy Regional state administration and Regional Council (posthumously), a memorable sign "For Service to the city of Cherkasy" I degree (2015, posthumously).
