Radkevych Petro Ivanovych was the gunner of the 30th individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 5 June, 1977 in the village Koshechki, Ovruch district, Zhytomyr region. He graduated the secondary school in the village Lystvyn, Ovruch district.
He passed the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He lived in the village Cherevky, Ovruch district. He worked as a serviceman for the machine tool for the lower part of the State Enterprise "Slovechansk Forestry" in Ovruch district.
In the spring of 2014 he was mobilized into the Armed forces of Ukraine. He served as the gunner of the 30th individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409, the city Novograd-Volyn, Zhytomyr region).
In the spring of 2014, he participated in an anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He was the participant in fighting for strategically important height of Savur-Mohyla (Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region), behind the village Stepanivka, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region.
On 13 August, 2014, the soldier Radkevych died in battles near the village Stepanivka, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region, as a result of a fatal injury to the chest.
On 17 August, 2014 he was buried in the cemetery of the village Koshechki, Ovruch district, Zhytomyr region.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (05/15/2015; posthumously).
The mother, the wife and two sons are left.
On 2 October, 2014, in the village Listvin, Ovruch district, Zhytomyr region, a memorial plaque was established on the building of a secondary school ( Shklyna Street, 4), where Petro Radkevych studied.
