Riy Vasyl‘ Ivanovych was a serviceman of the 2nd mechanized battalion of the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 20 July, 1967, in the village Novy Vytk, Radekhiv district, Lviv region. He graduated the high school.
He lived in the village Yosyivivka, Radekhiv district, Lviv region. He worked in a limited liability company "Furniture-Service".
He was mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He participated in the antiterrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He was demobilized and returned home.
After some time he signed a contract for the further military service in the Armed forces of Ukraine. He served in the 2nd mechanized battalion of the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military part of the field post of V0927, the city of Severodonetsk / Lisichansk, Luhansk region).
He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine again.
On 16 July, 2016, the soldier Riy died as a result of an accident near the town of Zaytsevo village, of Gorlovka City Council (now - Bakhmut district), Donetsk region.
On 20 July, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the village Yosyivivka, Radekhiv district, Lviv region.
The wife, the son and the daughter are left.
