Romanenko Alexander Trokhymovych was the commander of the reconnaissance company of the 3rd Battalion operational purpose reserve "Donbass" Ukraine National Guard, Reserve Ensign.
He was born on July 19, 1960 in the village of Stara Syniava Starosynyavskoho district , Khmelnitsky region. In 1977 he graduated the high school №1 village Stara Syniava.
In late 1970 - early 1980 he passed the military service in the Armed Forces of the USSR. In the early 1980s, he served in the Republic of Afghanistan, was the driver (the city of Kabul).
After demobilization he returned home. In Kamenetz-Podolsk he graduated the agricultural college (Khmelnytsky region).
In the mid-1980s he was again drafted into the Armed Forces of the USSR. He graduated the school warrant. He served in the Army of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the USSR.
In the second time he was sent to Afghanistan. He served as a platoon commander in the 459 th separate the mouth of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the USSR Armed Forces (military unit field mail 44633, the city of Kabul). He repeatedly participated in combat operations. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and the medal "For Courage".
Since 1988, after the withdrawal of 459-th separate special purpose company from Afghanistan, he served in the Turkestan Military District (city of Samarkand, Uzbekistan). He took part in the film "Afghan fracture" (1991). In the early 1990s, with the rank of lieutenant retired to the reserve from the Armed Forces.
He returned to his homeland. He lived in the town of Stara Syniava. He studied at the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy (now - National University of Life and Environmental Sciences).He was the active participant in the movement veteran soldiers in Afghanistan. Starosynyavsku headed the regional organization of the Ukrainian Union of Afghan Veterans. On November 2, 2010 he was Starosynyavskiy head of the village council.
In 2014 he joined the volunteer National Guard of Ukraine. It was a short training in the National Guard training center in the village of Ukraine Petrivtsi Vyshgorod district, Kyiv region.
Since June 2014 he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He served as commander of the reconnaissance company of the 3rd Battalion operational purpose reserve "Donbass" National Guard of Ukraine. Callsign "Skif".
On the night of 19 to 20 August 2014 during the battle for the liberation of the city of Donetsk region Ilovaysk he was killed by sniper bullets.
On August 23, 2014 he was buried in the cemetery of the village Stara Syniava.
He was awarded with 2 orders of Ukrainian "For courage" of the 3rd degree (second - 06.10.2014 posthumously), the Soviet Order of the Red Star, Soviet and Ukrainian medals, including Soviet medal "For Courage".
The wife, the adopted son and the daughter remain.
