Shevchuk Mykola Zakharovych was the senior medical officer of the 95th separate aeromobile brigade of the High-Military Allied Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the captain of the medical service.
He was born on 18 December, 1960, in the village Komsomolske (from 2016 - Makhnivka), Kozyatyn district, Vinnytsia region. He graduated the high school and a higher medical school.
He worked as a traumatologist at the Kozyatyn Central District Hospital.
On 31 January, 2015, Kozyatyn District Military Commissariat of Vinnytsia Region mobilized him into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At first he served in the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy (Kyiv city), then - the senior resident medical officer of the 95th separate aeromobile brigade of the High-Military Allied Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0281, the city Zhytomyr).
From April 18, 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 10 August, 2015, the captain of the medical service, Shevchuk died of a heart attack near the city Lubny, Poltava region, during his post in the column to the base camp of the military unit.
On 12 August, 2015 he was buried in the cemetery of the village Komsomolske (from 2016 - Makhnivka), Kozyatyn district,Vinnytsia region.
