Shimon Alexander Petrovich was the commander of the platoon financial security company 128 th separate Guards mountain infantry brigade Transcarpathian Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant.
He was born on August 23, 1988 in the village Uhlya, Tyachiv district, Transcarpathian region. In 2004 he graduated 9 classes of secondary school №2 Uholka, Tyachiv district, Transcarpathian region in 2006 - the village secondary school Uhlya, Tyachiv district.
Since 2006, he was in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2010 he graduated from the Army Academy named after hetman Sahaidachny (Lviv), speciality "Automobiles and Automobile Industry."
Since 2010, he served in the 128th Separate Guards Carpathian mountain infantry brigade of the Land Force of Ukraine (military unit A1556, Mukachevo Transcarpathian region).
Since autumn 2014 he took part in anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On December 4, 2014 Lieutenant Simon died from injuries, received during the attack the Russian-terrorist group of MLRS "Grad" Ukrainian military positions near the town of Debaltsevo, Donetsk region.
On December 6, 2014 buried in the cemetery of the village Uhlya Tyachiv district.
On April 5, 2015 in the village of Mala Uholka Tyachiv district in front of the building of secondary school №2 (Uholka small village, 57), where Alexander Simon studied, the memorial plaque was established.
On November 2015, the village Uhlya Tyachiv district on the obelisk of Fame, the memorial plaque in honor of Lieutenant Alexander Shimonwas was established.
He was awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III degree (15.5.2015, posthumously).
The parents and three brothers remain.
