Shlyamar Igor Oleksandrovych was the chief sergeant of the platoon - the commander of the 1 st company of the 1st mechanized battalion of the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the eldest.
He was born on 6 July, 1969 in the city Uman, Cherkasy region. He graduated the secondary school № 10 of the city Uman and the vocational school №36 of the city Uman (now - the State Educational Establishment "Uman Professional Agricultural Lyceum").
He passed the regular military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR.
On August 15, 2014, the Uman Unified City Military Commissariat of Cherkasy region mobilized him into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as the chief sergeant of the platoon - the commander of the 1st Company of the 1st Mechanized Battalion of the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit В0927, the city of Severodonetsk / Lisichansk, Luhansk region).
From 2014 he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 25 May 25, 2015 at about 12:00 in the Luhansk region near the border with the Russian Federation on the territory controlled by Ukraine, the medical vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UAZ- "tablet", which with two servicemen drove from the village Komishne to the village of Siza, Stanichno-Lugansky district, was Firefighters shot with the automatic weapons. As a result of the bombardment, the chief of staff, Shljamar, suffered a serious injury to the back and died during transportation to the hospital.
On 28 May, 2015, he was buried in the city cemetery in Uman.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (16.01.2016; posthumously).
