Shulikov Serhiy Viktorovich was the deputy of the company commander of the amphibious training parachuting 95th separate airborne brigade of highly mobile airborne troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, captain.
He was born in May 11, 1983 in the village Sadove, Snigurivsk district, Mykolayiv region. In 2000 he graduated the secondary school of the village Sadove, Snigurivsk District.
Since 2000, he was in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2004 he graduated the Faculty of Odessa Airborne Army Institute (nowadays - Odessa Military Academy). Since 2004, he served in the 95th separate airborne brigade of highly mobile airborne troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0281 Town Zhytomyr).
In the spring of 2014 he took part in anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
In July 28, 2014 Captain Shulikov was killed by sniper bullets while performing the combat mission near the town Shakhtarsk, Donetsk region.
In August 1, 2014 he was buried in a Smolyanskyi military cemetery in Zhitomir.
In May 8, 2015 in the village Sadove in front of the building of secondary school (Lenin Street, 7), where Serhiy Shulikov studied, the memorial plaque was established.
He was awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III degree (11/14/2014, posthumous) award “People‘s Hero of Ukraine” (02.08.2015, posthumously).
The pregnant wife, daughter and son remain.
