Slobodyanyuk Ruslan Mykolayovych was the shooter of the 7th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 72nd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 2 December, 1979 in the city Kirovohrad (now Kropivnitsky). He graduated the 9th forms of the general school №18 of the city of Kirovohrad in 1995 and the vocational school №8 of the city of Kirovohrad.
He passed the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
After demobilization he returned to the city of Kirovohrad. He Worked at the local enterprises, in particular at the enterprise "Kreativ".
In February 2015, he was mobilized into the armed forces of Ukraine. He received the military training at the 169th Training Center of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0665, village settlement of the Desna district of the Kozeletsky district of the Chernihiv region). He served as an archer of the 7th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region).
In the spring of 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 12 April, 2015, soldier Slobodyanyuk during an accomplishment of combat task exploded in stretching near the village of Starognativka in the Volnovakha district, Donetsk region.
On 18 April, 2015 he was buried on the Alley of Glory of the Rivne cemetery, the city Kirovohrad (now - Kropivnitsky).
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (16.01.2016; posthumously).
On August 21, 2015, in the city of Kirovograd (now - Kropivnitsky), a memorial plaque was established on the building of the general school №18 (street Yuriy Kovalenko, 9a), where Ruslan Slobodyanyuk was studied.
