Tykholoz Andriy Pavlovych was the airborne serviceman, the aviation technician of the the helicopter squadron of the 11th separate brigade of Army Aviation Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major (posthumously).
He was born on 10 September, 1979 in the village Marianivka, Lysyansky district (according to other sources - in the village Veseliy Kut,Shpola district) Cherkasy region. In 1994 he graduated 9 classes of secondary school of the village Yaroslavka, Shpola district, in 1996 - Antonivka secondary school , Shpola district.
Since 1996, he was in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On 24 July, 1996 he entered the Kiev Institute of the Air Force, after the dissolution of which in 2000, he continued his studies at the Kharkiv Institute of the Air Force (2016 - Kharkiv National University of Air Force Ivan Kozhedub), which ended on 23 June, 2001 specialization "Planes, helicopters and aircraft engines."
From 23 June 2001 to 29 March 2006 he had the military service as board aircraft (helicopter) helicopter units (Mi-8, 9) helicopter squadron (Mi-8, 9) of the 2nd Brigade of the Army Aviation Odessa Military District of the Armed Forces Ukraine (2003 - 11 separate Army aviation regiment, military unit A1604 village Chornobaivka Belozersky district, Kherson region).
On 29 March, 2006 to September 7, 2006 he was the senior aircraft technician, the board aircraft technician of maintenance and regulation of helicopter and engine engineering-aviation service of the 56th separate helicopter detachment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine UN Mission in Liberia (Military Unit A2623, the international airport " Roberts‘ city Monrovia Liberia).
From 7 September 2006 to 22 June 2011 he was the board aircraft technician helicopter units (MI-8) helicopter squadron (Mi-24, Mi-8, Mi-9) 11-th separate army aviation regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (since 2007 - 11 separate army aviation regiment 79th separate airborne brigade of the army, military unit A1604 village Chornobaivka Belozersky district, Kherson region).
On 22 June, 2011 by the order of the Commander of the Land Force of Ukraine he was dismissed from the military service in the reserve in connection with the expiration of the contract.
He worked in Kiev Airlines "Ukrainian Helicopters" as the onboard aeronautical engineer.
On 28 March, 2014 he was drafted Kherson regional military commissariat for military service by mobilization of the 11th separate brigade of Army Aviation Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1604 village Chornobaivka Belozersky district, Kherson region).
In the spring of 2014 he took part in anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 13 June , 2014 captain Tykholoz died because of the gunshot wound as a result of sniper shot during the combat flight crew in the helicopter Mi-8 near the town of Slavyansk Donetsk region.
On 18 June, 2014 he was buried in the cemetery of the village Chornobaivka, Belozersky district, Kherson region.
He was awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III class (19.7.2014, posthumously).
On 24 August, 2014 in the village Chornobaivka, Belozersky district on the facade of the building (Harajniy Lane, 19A), where Tykholoz Andriy lived, the memorial plaque was established.
On 22 January, 2015 in the village Yaroslavka, Shpola district in front of the building of secondary school (street youth), where Tykholoz Andriy studied, the memorial plaque was established.
The wife, two daughters and the son are left.
