Tymoshenko Roman Vasylovych was the company commander of 101st separate brigade Guard General Staff of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant.
He was born on March 5, 1989 in Kiev. In 2006 he graduated the secondary school №243 of Kyiv.
Since 2006, he was in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2010 he graduated the Hetman Sahaidachny Army Academy (L‘viv), specialty "Fighting the use and management actions armored divisions."
Since 2010, he served in the 101st separate brigade of General Staff Health Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (military unit A0139; Kyiv).
Since the summer of 2014 he took part in anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On February 16, 2015 Lt. Tymoshenko led the convoy of military equipment, which is exported from the environment wounded soldiers who participated in the fighting near Debaltseve. During the movement of the column near the village of Lower Lozovoe Artemovsk (now - Bakhmut) Donetsk region, where the armored personnel carrier was commander of the column, hit a bomb. The explosion Lieutenant Timoshenko died from his wounds.
He was buried in the Forest Cemetery in Kyiv.
On September 11, 2015 in Kiev on the facade of the building of secondary school №243 (street Novomostytska, 10), where Roman Tymoshenko studied, the memorial plaque was established.
He was awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III degree (23.5.2015, posthumously).
