Trotsenko Maksym Mykolayovych was the sniper of the 40th Battalion of Territorial Defense "Kryvbas", a soldier.
He was born on 20 June, 1985 in the city Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, in the family of teachers. In 2001, he graduated the 9th form of the secondary school №3 of the city Nikopol, in 2004 - Nikolsky professional lyceum specializing in electro gas welder.
He served the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He worked as a security guard in private structures, and recently, a sling in the Limited Liability Company Interpipe Niko Tube in the city Nikopol.
On 15 May, 2014 he was mobilized into the Armed forces of Ukraine. He served as a sniper of the 40th Battalion of Territorial Defense "Kryvbas" (from November 2014 - 40th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 17th separate tank brigade of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military unit 2603, the city Kryvy Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region).
Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. In August 2014, he was a member of the fighting for the city Ilovaysk, Donetsk region.
On 29 August, 2014, soldier Trotsenko, along with other military men, came from the Ilovaisk boiler through the so-called "humanitarian corridor". A column was attacked by an enemy near the village Novokaterinivka, Starobeshiv district, Donetsk region. Soldier Trotsenko sat on the top of the armored vehicle, thrown it out by a strong explosion under the wheels of an armored personnel carrier traveling at a high speed, because of which in the serviceman died.
On 2 September, 2014, the body of Trotsenko Maksym, along with the bodies of 87 others killed in the Ilovaisky boiler, was brought to the morgue of the city Zaporizhya. He was identified by the combat comrades and the relatives.
On 7 September, 2014 he was buried in the city cemetery in Nikopol.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (05/15/2015; posthumously).
The parents and the sister are left.
In April 2016, in the city Nikopol, a memorial plaque was established on the facade of the building of the Nikopol Professional Lyceum (Prospect Trubnikov, 16), where Trotsenko Maksym studied.
