Uporov Ihor was the commander of fighting vehicle - squad 51 th separate mechanized brigade of the Land Force of Ukraine, the senior soldier.
He was born on 30 August, 1984 in the city of Vladymyr-Volyn, Volyn region. He graduated secondary school in Volodymyr-Volyn.
He had military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He took part in the peacekeeping mission in Kosovo.
In April 2014 he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as the commander of the combat vehicle - Squad 51-th separate mechanized brigade of the Land Force of Ukraine (military unit A2331, the city of Volodymyr-Volyn Volyn region, in December 2014 the crew disbanded).
In the spring of 2014 he took part in anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 28 June 28, 2014 senior soldier Uporov took part in the battle near the village Makarov Stanichno-Lugansk district, Luhansk region. During the mortar attack fighter was wounded in the stomach. He died of blood loss in a helicopter during transportation to the hospital.
On 2 July, 2014 he was buried at the Fedorovske cemetery in Volodymyr-Volyn.
He was awarded the Order "For courage" III class (06/04/2015, posthumously), Honorary Award Volodymyr-Volyn city council "For Service to the city of Voladymyr-Volyn" (10.29.2014, posthumously).
Honorary Citizen of Vladimir-Volyn (24/04/2015, posthumously).
The decision of Volodymyr-Volyn City Council on September 9, 2015 number 46/15 the street in a residential area on the street Lutsk was renamed after Ihor Uporov (former settlement gas pipelines).
