Ustymenko Oleksandr Anatoliyovych was the commander of the mechanized platoon of the 7th Company of the 3rd Battalion of the 72nd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant.
He was born 10 July, 1983 in the village Gavrylivka, Vyshgorod district, Kyiv region. He graduated the secondary school of the village Gavrylivka. He lived in the village Litvinivka, Vyshgorod district, Kyiv region.
In 2014 he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as the commander of a mechanized platoon of the 7th Company of the 3rd Battalion of the 72nd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region).
Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On August 29, 2014, Lt. Ustymenko died of a sniper ball near the city Volnovaha, Donetsk region.
He was buried in the cemetery of the village Gavrylivka, Vyshgorod district, Kyiv region.
He was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky III class (14.03.2015; posthumously).
