Volosevych Yevheniy Viktorovych was the driver of the 30th individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a soldier.
He was born on 25 June, 1986 in the village Kropivnya, Korostyshiv district, Zhytomyr region. He graduated the general education school in the village Kropivnya.
He worked in a shop for the processing granite of one of the enterprises of Korostyshiv district.
In the spring of 2014 he was mobilized into the Armed forces of Ukraine. He served as a driver of the 30th individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409, the city Novograd-Volyn, Zhytomyr region).
Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Participant in fighting for strategically important height of Savur-Mohyla (Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region), behind the village Stepanivka, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region.
In August 2014, within the unit he fell into the surroundings in the village Stepanivka.
On the night of August 12 to 13, 2014, the command decided to leave the environment. There were three cars in the column with 13 soldiers, soldier Volosevych was driving the first car. The machines moved from the village Velyka Shishivka, Shakhtarsky district to the village Mala Shishivka, Amvrosiivka district, Donetsk region. During the movement, the column was shelled by the militants. As a result of the shelling, the soldier Volosevych, who was a driver of the Volkswagen car, died. Since then, the soldier was considered to be missing. He was discovered for the DNA testing.
On 18 February, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the village Grovinuyu, Korostyshiv district, Zhytomyr region.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (04/25/2016; posthumously).
The parents, the brother, the wife and the daughter are left.
On 1 September, 2016, in the village Kropivnya, a memorial plaque was established on the building of the secondary school (Molodizhnaya Street, 1), where Yevheniy Volosevych studied.
