Wowk Bogdan Igorovych was the technician company operating purposes (for the armored car) 5th company of the 2nd Battalion operational purpose (mixed) 3rd Brigade operational quickly designation Eastern-territorial unification of the National Guard of Ukraine, Sergeant.
He was born on July 9, 1969 in Drohobych, Lviv region. He graduated the secondary school of Drohobych.
He passed the military service in the Armed Forces of the USSR, he was the commander of the unit medium tanks.
In July 2014 he was mobilized the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. He served as a technician company operating purposes (for the armored car) 5th company of the 2nd Battalion operational purpose (mixed) 3rd Brigade operational quickly designation Eastern-territorial unification Ukraine National Guard (military unit 3017, Kharkiv).
Since 2014 he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On February 14, 2015 unit, to which he belonged, he was sent to the city Debaltsevo Donetsk region for a combat mission on reflection militants armed attack on important facilities. February 18, 2015 around 7.00 hours after the task, moving the car to the point of permanent deployment, the band were surrounded and was fired with small arms and heavy artillery, resulting Sergeant Wolf received numerous gunshot and shrapnel wounds from whom died. He was considered to disappear. His body was identified in the morgue of Kharkiv. On March 4, 2015 he was buried in the town cemetery in Drohobych. He was awarded the Order "For courage» III degree (28.6.2015, posthumously).The wife and son remain.
