Zabolotnyy Mykola Petrovych was a serviceman of the 53rd individual mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the petty officer.
He was born on 28 January, 1972, in the village Movchany, Zhmerinka district, Vinnitsia region in the family of collective farmers. In 1988, he graduated the Movchany school of eight years, in 1990 - a special vocational school in the city of Bar Vinnytsia region (now - the Barsky Professional Construction Lyceum) in the specialty "carpenter".
In 1990-1993 he was in the regular military service in the Navy of the USSR / Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the Black Sea Fleet (the city of Sevastopol). He was demobilized as the petty officer.
He lived in the village Movchany. He worked as a mechanician in a local collective farm, after the collapse of the company - on various works.
On 17 August 17, 2015, he was mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served at the 53rd separate mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit В0927, city Severodonetsk / Lisichansk Luhansk region).
From 1 April, 2016, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He was wounded.
During the military service in the area of the antiterrorist operation, he was ill with pneumonia. He was sent for treatment to the Kharkiv Military Hospital, where he died on 3 September, 2016 as a result of the cardio-pulmonary insufficiency.
On 6 September, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the village Movchany, Zhmerinka district, Vinnytsia region.
