Zabolotniy Vyacheslav Anatolievich was the serviceman of 1129th Artillery Regiment Air Defense Forces Land Forces of Ukraine, Chief Warrant.
He was born on March 26, 1977 in the village of Orlovka Yampolsky district, Sumy region. He graduated the secondary school, Orlovka village.
He served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the contract.
On March 21, 2014 he was drafted to the Armed Forces of Ukraine military commissariat Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. He served in the 1129 th Artillery Regiment Air Defense Forces Land Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1232 Town White Church of the Kiev region).
Since 2014 he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
The outpost near Volnovakha Donetsk region, guarding the Chief Warrant V. A. Zabolotniy was shelled by Russian forces armed with heavy artillery, and sniper opened fire. Zabolotniy was seriously wounded in the head. He was taken to the hospital, where the wounded received, he died on Dec. 4, 2014.
On December 7, 2014 he was buried in the cemetery of the village Orlovka.
He was awarded the Order "For courage» III degree (06/04/2015; posthumously) medals.
