Zhembrovs‘kyy Denys Viktorovych was the senior inspector of roving department of district inspectors of police Public Safety Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Vinnytsia region, Lieutenant of Police (posthumously).
He was born on 5 November, 1981 in the city of Vinnytsia. He graduated the secondary school №21 of Vinnitsia.
Since the late 1990s he was in the internal affairs. In 2002 he graduated the Odessa Law Institute of the National University of Internal Affairs (now - Odessa State University of Internal Affairs) and joined local policeman Vinnytsia city police department Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Vinnytsia region, then led police public safety Tyvrovsky District Department of the Office of the Ministry of Affairs of Ukraine in Vinnytsia region and later he was appointed as the senior inspector roving department of district inspectors of police public safety management department of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine in Vinnytsia region.
Since May 2014 he took part in anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. During the first trip to the zone of the antiterrorist operation, Police Major Zhembrovs‘kyy had served as a part of the consolidated law enforcement detachment of Vinnytsia region checkpoints near Slovyansk, Donetsk region, which at that time was controlled by the Russian-terrorist groups. In the second trip to the zone of the antiterrorist operation, Denys Viktorovych instead asked for a colleague, who has two young children.
On 10 February, 2015 Police Major Zhembrovs‘kyy died as a result of shelling the Russian-terrorist group of reactive systems of salvo fire "Smerch" Kramatorsk Donetsk region. The fire in the city were from the town Gorlovka of Donetsk region, which at that time was controlled by the Russian-terrorist forces.
On 13 February, 2015 he was buried at the Central Cemetery Walk of Fame in Vinnytsia.
On 5 November, 2015 in Vinnytsia on the facade of the building of secondary school №21 (600 th Street, 16), where police lieutenant colonel Zhembrovs‘kyy studied , the memorial plaque was established.
He was awarded the Order "For courage" IIIrd class (15.5.2015, posthumously).
