Belyma Mykola Hryhorovych was the serviceman of the 40th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 17th separate tank brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, sergeant.
He was born on 3 December, 1985 in the village Luzanivka, Kamyan district, Cherkasy region. He graduated the secondary school of the village Luzanivka.
He passed the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In 2014, he volunteered to join the 40th Battalion of Territorial Defense "Kryvbas" (from November 2014 - the 40th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 17th separate tank brigade of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military unit 2603, the city Kryviy Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region).
Since 2014 he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He was the participant of fighting for the city of Debaltsevo, Donetsk region.
On 8 February, 2015, Sergeant Belyma was injured in the battles for the city of Debaltsevo, Donetsk region. The injured soldier was taken to the hospital, where he had several operations. Doctors fought for the life of Sergeant Belyma, but their efforts proved useless. On 18 February, 2015, a serviceman died in a hospital from the injuries.
On 21 February, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village Luzanivka, Kamyan district, Cherkasy region.
He was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd class (04.06.2015; posthumously).
On May 9, 2015, in the village Luzanivka, the memorial plaque was established on the facade of the building of the secondary school (Central Street, 11), where Mykola Belyma studied. His name is the street of the village of Luzanivka, on which an annotation board was established.
